One hopes of course that the recovery of Christendom from its conciliar low will continue.Le Barde Gauloishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01773867280543359470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1664770729447806088.post-89791111863073494402011-01-27T03:07:48.182-08:002011-01-27T03:07:48.182-08:00I am possessed of the conviction that the Eagles h...I am possessed of the conviction that the Eagles have fallen but for a little space of history--a fall allowed by God to teach them humility, that their authority truly comes from Him, and also to rejuvenate their lines with a little fresh blood.

The intermarriages of the royals made sense diplomatically and were carried out with the best intentions of course. The entanglements would have automatically made war fratricide amongst the nations, which is why so many (including monarchs themselves) had thought WWI was impossible. But nature was created by God, and unlike Him, has no clemency, hence I do think the lines degenerated a bit due to so many close unions. They have had generations to recover, and as Malachi Martin once said of the secular geopolitical state 'It will have its day. A little day.' I am sure that day is drawing swiftly to its close.

Pax tecum!Jacobitesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03723557335968316270noreply@blogger.com
